POCO X8 Pro 5G: The highly awaited Poco X8 Pro is expected to come to India soon. There has been no official confirmation by the sub-brand, but there are some signs that its launch may not be far off. An Indian variant of the Poco X8 Pro was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, suggesting that its launch in India may also be very near.
The listing that was supposedly added to BIS appeared on December 8 under a certain model number 2511FPC34I with an R-91005720 registration number. The Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore first caught the certification. The specifications are not disclosed in the BIS listing, but it is strongly hinted that it will soon reach the Indian market.
Powerful MediaTek Dimensity Processor
The X8 Pro is supposed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. Such a processor should deliver remarkable performance for gaming and multitasking so that the owners enjoy its use. Since the Poco brand is all about performance-driven phones, the X8 Pro should find great favor with the power user.
6.67-inch AMOLED LTPS display
Poco X8 Pro might have a 6.67-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a resolution of 1.5K and 120Hz refresh rate. This display is supposed to ensure smooth scrolling, nice colors, and sharp visuals for an excellent watching experience, gaming, and daily browsing.
In addition, the reports suggest that the phone will feature a metal frame for greater durability. Considering it will feature an IP68 rating, this would become one of the best-protected handsets in Poco’s premium mid-range line-up. A claim is likewise made that the device’s screen will include a high-end ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, once again making it faster and more secure than regular optical solutions.

Perhaps the biggest buzz about the Poco X8 Pro will be the enormous 8,000 mAh battery algorithm that most rumors hope ring true for Poco’s next classy mid-range. It could boast one of the largest batteries when it reaches the skies. We will have to wait and see whether or not the phone will be priced at an equivalent to or greater than INR 30,000 in India. For reference, the Poco X7 Pro 5G was launched earlier this year at INR 27,999 for an 8GB + 256GB variant. The phone had an already cheap Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and 90W fast charging support.
